Through comprehensive, impactful initiatives, we focus on advocacy, education, empowerment, and support to drive lasting change.

Access to Justice and Legal Aid

For many women, accessing justice is often a daunting challenge. Our Legal Aid program ensures that no woman or girl is left without support. Services include:

Free or affordable legal representation for cases involving GBV, inheritance disputes, and child custody.
Assistance in obtaining critical documents like birth certificates, national ID cards, and marriage certificates.
Specialized legal aid programs for women with disabilities, addressing unique challenges they face in accessing justice.

Advocacy for Gender Equality and Social Justice

We believe that sustainable change begins with strong policies and systemic reforms. Our advocacy efforts focus on:

Collaborating with governments, NGOs, and community organizations to promote and enforce gender-sensitive policies and laws.
Raising public awareness about gender-based violence (GBV) and systemic discrimination through impactful campaigns.
Influencing decision-makers to prioritize women's rights and equity at all levels of governance.

Combating Gender-Based Violence (GBV)

Gender-Based Violence is one of the most pressing challenges facing women and girls in Sierra Leone. Our GBV program provides survivors with the resources and support needed to heal and rebuild their lives. This includes:

Legal Aid: Our dedicated lawyers and paralegals offer free legal representation to survivors of GBV, helping them secure protection orders, divorce settlements, and custody rights.
Counselling Services: We provide individual and group counselling, as well as mobile counselling services for rural areas.
Safe Spaces and Shelters: Survivors can access secure shelters, offering not only physical safety but also emotional and psychological support.
Community Education: Workshops and campaigns are organized to challenge harmful norms and foster a culture of respect and inclusion.

Education and Leadership Development

Empowered women empower communities. Our educational initiatives aim to inspire and equip women and girls to become leaders and change-makers. Programs include:

Leadership Training: Developing leadership skills through workshops and mentoring programs.
Life Skills Education: Teaching essential skills like financial literacy, conflict resolution, and public speaking.
Formal and Informal Education: Providing scholarships, tutoring, and informal learning opportunities to help girls complete their education.

Economic Empowerment for Women

We understand that financial independence is key to breaking cycles of poverty and dependence. Through our Economic Empowerment program, we offer:

Vocational Training: Skills training in areas such as tailoring, agriculture, and handicrafts to equip women with marketable skills.
Entrepreneurship Support: Business development workshops and mentorship programs to help women start and sustain their own businesses.
Access to Microfinance: We connect women with microcredit opportunities to invest in their futures.

Health and Counselling Services

The physical and emotional well-being of women and girls is central to our mission. Our health and counseling programs provide:

Psychosocial Support: Comprehensive counselling for survivors of GBV, including individual, couples, and group therapy.
Reproductive Health Education: Awareness programs that empower women to make informed decisions about their health and family planning.
Emergency Medical Assistance: Immediate support for survivors of violence, ensuring timely medical attention.
